The agenda of the XXIX meeting of the Council for Health Cooperation of the CIS Countries, held on Friday at the Archabil Hotel in Ashgabat, reviewed the work of the Association for Directors of Centers and Institutes of Oncology and Radiology of the CIS and Eurasian Countries (ADIOR).

Talking to Business Turkmenistan after the meeting, Professor Andrei Kaprin, the head of ADIOR, noted the readiness of ADIOR for cooperation with Turkmenistan.

"Turkmenistan is an associated member of the ADIOR. We are currently building up the work of the Association."

“Turkmenistan is an associated member of the ADIOR. We are currently building up the work of the Association. After the conclusion of mutual agreements, we plan to strengthen cooperation with Turkmenistan and we are ready to cooperate in this direction,” Kaprin said.

“Tobacco smoking is one of the bad habits, which increases the development of cancer by 30 percent. As an oncologist, we, as an ADIOR, call for the cessation of smoking. Turkmenistan has made very big steps in this direction”, Professor Andrei Kaprin stressed in his interview with BT.
