Types of land use by citizens of Turkmenistan
In accordance with the legislation of Turkmenistan, land plots are assigned to the citizens of Turkmenistan for:
- maintaining household in rural areas - agricultural irrigated land;
- constructing individual house in cities and towns;
- agricultural production - temporary use from a special land fund;
- production of agricultural products - from the lands of farmer associations and other agricultural enterprises under long-term leases with subsequent transfer to the property with the right of inheritance to tenants who effectively use land plots;
- official allotment;
- livestock breeding;
- mowing plants;
- construction and agricultural work in the implementation of entrepreneurial activities;
- placement of temporary non-agricultural facilities.
Types of land use by legal entities of Turkmenistan
In accordance with the legislation of Turkmenistan, land plots may be assigned to legal entities of Turkmenistan for:
- conducting agricultural production;
- auxiliary farming;
- placement of temporary structures;
- livestock breeding;
- construction;
- development of mineral resources;
- other non-agricultural purposes.
The types of land use by citizens and legal entities of foreign states, as well as international organizations and foreign states
In accordance with the legislation of Turkmenistan, land plots may be assigned to citizens and legal entities of foreign states, as well as international organizations and foreign states for rent for:
- construction of facilities and other non-agricultural purposes;
- placement of temporary objects.
The conditions for land ownership rights, land use rights and land lease rights to arise
The right of ownership to a land plot, the right to use land and the right to lease land arise after the state body for managing land resources establishes the boundaries of land plots and issues the relevant documents certifying these rights.
