Chemical Plant in Turkmenistan Ramps Up Chlorine Production
Chlorine lime, fully compliant with the requirements of the sanitary-epidemiological service, is currently used in disinfection in public places.

The Department of the Turkmenabat Chemical Plant in Magdanly city in the northeastern Turkmenistan is increasing the production of chlorine lime, widely used in the prevention of infectious diseases and disinfection in public places.

The plant increased the daily production of chlorine lime from 1.5 tons to 2 tons. The company sources 80% of the raw material required for the production from the nearby Koytendag Mountains.

More than 30 people are involved in chlorine production. The finished product is distributed daily by special transport to all regions of Turkmenistan.

Chlorine lime, produced with modern technologies and fully compliant with the requirements of the sanitary-epidemiological service, is currently used in disinfection in public places.
