President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and President of the Republic of Tatarstan of the Russian Federation Rustam Minnikhanov discussed the trade-economic and humanitarian cooperation during the telephone conversation on Thursday.
The parties confirmed the willingness to further intensify cooperation in a wide range of areas and discussed steps to advance the reached agreements.
The interlocutors also discussed the situation associated with the coronavirus pandemic, which has a negative impact on the global economy, and the production of medical supplies to prevent its spread.
The sides expressed confidence that, despite external factors, the joint measures would maintain the current dynamics of development of trade and economic cooperation.
The parties also noted the importance of further expanding cooperation in the cultural and humanitarian spheres. In this regard, the Turkmen Leader expressed gratitude for the Tatarstan’s care shown to Turkmen students, studying in the higher education institutions of the Republic.
