Ambassador Thanks Uzbek Authorities for Conditions Created for Turkmen Students
The Turkmen Ambassador and the Embassy diplomats, the Rector of the Urgench State University, the Vice-Rectors, teachers and students of the university attended the meeting.

The Embassy of Turkmenistan in Tashkent held a meeting via video link with the representatives and Turkmen students of the Urgench State University.

The Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Uzbekistan Yazguly Mammedov and the Turkmen Embassy diplomats, the Rector of the Urgench State University Bahrom Abdullayev, the Vice-Rectors, teachers and students of the university attended the meeting.

At the beginning of the meeting, the Ambassador expressed gratitude to the government of Uzbekistan and the Rector of Urgench State University for the created opportunities for the stay and distance educatiaon of Turkmen students during the quarantine due to the spread of COVID-19 in Uzbekistan.

The Ambassador also said Turkmen-Uzbek relations are developing dynamically across all fields thanks to the efforts of the leaders of the two countries.

Referring to the conditions created for Turkmen students, representatives of the Uzbek side assured that the Ministry of Higher and Secondary-Specialized Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the administration of the university will do everything possible to positively address issues related to the stay of Turkmen citizens in Uzbekistan in the conditions of the coronavirus pandemic.

The parties also discussed the events dedicated to the celebration of the 25th anniversary of Turkmenistan's Neutrality.
