Turkmen Private Agricultural Company to Grow Wheat on 1300 Hectares
Alkyş Alan Gallaçy will grow Sahrayi variety of wheat on 1,300 hectares of land.

Representatives of the private sector of Turkmenistan are actively involved in wheat production in S. Turkmenbashi etrap, Dashoguz velayat’s largest wheat producing region.

Alkyş Alan Gallaçy company was allocated a 2,563 hectares of land in the northern etrap of the country. In accordance with the state order, the company is assigned to grow Sahrayi variety of wheat on 1,300 hectares of the land. The company planted wheat on 500 hectares of the land.

The company uses its own tractors and various specialized equipment in the crop cultivation. Specialists of the company expect a yield of at least 18.3 centners per hectare.

Wheat was planted on 28 thousand hectares of land in S. Turkmenbashi etrap, from which farmers expect to harvest over 50 thousand tons of the grain.

This year, a grain wedge in S. Turkmenbashi etrap occupied 28 thousand hectares, from which it is planned to get over 50 thousand tons of grain. Along with Alkyş Alan Gallaçy, Ykbal Açary and Mizemez Ynam companies are also actively involved in the production of wheat in the etrap.

Alkyş Alan Gallaçy was established in 2019.
