Turkmen Customs Officials, International Organizations Share Experience
Online Workshop on Strategic Trade and Export Control for the officers of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan was held on May 26-28.

The State Customs Service of Turkmenistan on Tuesday held a video conference meeting with Batyr Geldiyev, regional coordinator of United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC)-World Customs Organization (WCO) Global Container Control Programme (GCCP).

The meeting participants discussed the expansion of cooperation between the UNODC and Turkmenistan and the status of projects in areas of mutual interest.

The sides also exchanged views on action plan for online learning in the second half of 2020.

UNODC Representative in Ashgabat Chary Atayev also participated in the meeting.

The Global Container Control Programme had conducted an Online Workshop on Strategic Trade and Export Control for the officers of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan on May 26-28.

The GCCP Regional Segment for Central Asia is funded by the Government of Japan and the U.S. Department of State Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs, and the Export Control and Related Border Security (EXBS) Programme.
