Turkmenistan, UAE Consider Strengthening of Bilateral Transport, Energy Cooperation
Officials of Turkmenistan and the UAE discussed the possibilities of strengthening collaboration in the field of transport, energy, chemical industry and ecology.

Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, Minister of Foreign Affairs Rashid Meredov on Wednesday held a telephone conversation with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

According to the Turkmen Foreign Ministry’s statement, the parties reiterated the high level of bilateral cooperation in political-diplomatic, trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian fields. 

The officials noted the effectiveness of collaboration between the external policy agencies of two countries and closeness of positions on key aspects of regional and international agenda.

The sides exchanged views on current situation with the COVID-19 pandemic and considered the opportunities of joint efforts against the spread of the coronavirus in the world.

The interlocutors also discussed the possibilities of strengthening collaboration in the field of transport, energy, chemical industry and ecology.
