Russian Citizens to Completely Switch to Electronic Employment Record Books
The law on the introduction of electronic employment record books in Russia came into force on January 1, 2020.

Citizens of the Russian Federation will be able to get a job with an electronic employment record book, the press service of the Russian Government said in a statement on Saturday.

According to the press release, The Prime Minister of Russia Mikhail Mishustin signed the relevant decree on Saturday.

The electronic form of the employment record book is almost identical to the paper version. It has information about the employee, job, date of hiring and dismissal and the reason for the termination of the employment contract.

It is claried that the resolution amends 55 regulations about the rules of the employment record books.

The e-book can be viewed in the individuals personal account on the website of the Pension Fund, on the portal of state services, and through the mobile application of these resources. In addition, information from e-books can be obtained in the form of paper statements from the last employer, Pension Fund or MFC.

The law on the introduction of electronic employment record books in Russia came into force on January 1, 2020.
