Ajaýyp Ussat - Halal Önümler Economic Society commissioned a specialized workshop for the production of marbled beef at its livestock complex two years ago. The farm presently maintains over 700 cattle for the marbled meat production, the Türkmenistan newspaper reported on Friday.
For the production of marbled beef, the company brought 300 cows and 15 bulls from Russia to its large livestock complex located in Ahal velayat’s Baherden etrap.
The head of the workshop Bashmyrat Berdimyradov said the company sowed such forage crops as corn, oats, clover on a 500-hectare land plot allotted in the etrap’s Archman village and achieved rationed cattle nutrition.
The livestock complex also includes about 3.5 thousand cattle of Simmental and Holstein breeds, about 750 of which are dairy cows. The farm produces 12 tons of milk every day and sells it to dairy companies in Ahal and Mary velayats.
The livestock complex annually supplies around 100 tons of meat to the country's markets.
