President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov during a meeting of the Halk Maslahaty (People's Council) of Turkmenistan signed a Decree aimed at encouraging healthcare workers, TDH news agency reported on Friday.
According to the signed document, the healthcare workers of public medical institutions, involved in strengthening and protecting the health of citizens in the framework of preventing the spread into the country of an acute infectious disease that has arisen in the world, should be paid a supplement of 15% of their monthly salary during these works.
In addition, starting from January 1, 2021, healthcare workers of public medical institutions in the remote, hard-to-reach villages of the country specified in the Decree should be paid a supplement of 20% of their monthly salary, and healthcare workers of public medical institutions in villages - 10% of their monthly salary.
In accordance with the Decree, the Ministry of Healthcare and Medical Industry, hyakimliks (administrations), in accordance with the legislation of Turkmenistan, are instructed to provide the relevant rural healthcare workers with private residential buildings, erected under state programs, and land plots for the construction of private residential buildings.
