Large-scale work is underway in Turkmenistan to establish production of high-quality and environmentally friendly products aimed at local and foreign markets, and to provide the population with jobs.
According to the Rysgal newspaper’s Monday issue, Bir Dünýä Economic Society plans in the future to establish a production line of bags with an inner protective layer for transporting one of the most popular food products - legumes, including mung beans.
The enterprise located in Ahal velayat’s Ak Bugday etrap is currently producing environmentally friendly bags with a capacity of 300 kg to 3 tons.
According to the report, the produced bags are intended for chemicals, pharmaceuticals, agricultural fertilizers, fiberglass, food products, seeds, starch, as well as cement, gravel and other building materials.
The enterprise, equipped with advanced machinery of Austrian Starlinger company, is designed to produce two million bags per year. The company gets 95% of raw materials supplied from the Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries.
Established in 2009, Bir Dünýä Economic Society employs more than 80 people. The company launched the production of bags in 2017.
