Uzbekistan exported 455 types of textile products worth $1.3 billion in 9 months of 2020, UzA news agency reported on Saturday with reference to the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan.
Compared to the same period of last year, the export of textiles increased by $171.6 million, or 14.6%, the State Statistics Committee said.
The main export destinations of Uzbek textile products are such countries as Russia - $486.5 million, China - $277.5 million, Kyrgyz Republic - $196.5 million, Turkey - $153.4 million, Poland - $32.6 million and Kazakhstan - $30.6 million.
At the same time, during the period, imports of textiles to Uzbekistan decreased by $148.3 million, or 8.2% compared to the same period of last year.
In 9 months of 2020, textile enterprises of Uzbekistan produced 23.8 trillion soums worth of products, which is 11.8% more than in the same period of last year.
