Chairman of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan (UIET) Dovran Hudayberdiyev held online talks with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Iran to Turkmenistan Golam Abbas Arbab Khales on Wednesday, the UIET said in a press release.
The UIET Chairman acquainted the Iranian Ambassador with the promising directions of development of Turkmen private business, state support for domestic entrepreneurship and large-scale projects implemented by members of the organization.
According to the UIET statement, it was emphasized that measures taken by Turkmenistan to stimulate small and medium-sized businesses contribute to the further development of the export potential of Turkmen entrepreneurs and organization of joint ventures.
In turn, the Iranian Ambassador highlighted Turkmenistan’s favorable conditions for the intensification of bilateral relations at the level of business entities and assured that he intends to promote the expansion of contacts between Turkmen and Iranian businesses.
During the conversation, the head of the UIET and the Iranian Ambassador discussed the priority areas of cooperation between the business circles of the two countries. In this regard, the sides emphasized the importance of their participation in international exhibitions and business forums, including in online format.
