Transit of Turkmen oil through Russia amounted to 2.11 million tons in January-November 2020, Interfax reported on Wednesday citing the data of the Russia’s Central Dispatching Department of the Fuel and Energy Complex (CDU TEK).
In November alone, over 160 thousand tons of Turkmen oil transited Russia, according to the CDU TEK data.
Over the past eleven months of 2020, the transit of Kazakhstan’s oil through Russia amounted to 14.12 million tons (1.16 million tons in November), and transit of Azerbaijan’s oil amounted to 528.57 thousand tons (169.79 thousand tons in November).
The report emphasizes that oil production with gas condensate in Russia decreased in January-November 2020 by 8.4% compared to the same period last year and amounted to 470.16 million tons.
During the period, Russian oil companies reduced oil exports to CIS countries by 25.8% to 11.8 million tons.
