The first official store of Aýdyň Gijeler joint venture, created with the share of the Ministry of Industry and Construction Production, opened in Ashgabat.
According to Watan news program’s Friday report, the company sells electronic products, including cell phones, refrigerators, computer equipment and televisions at the store.
The opening of the new store is timed to the 25th anniversary of the neutrality of Turkmenistan, according to the report.
The production of the appliances was established on the territory of the former Türkmenkabel plant in Ashgabat.
In June of this year, the company started producing 32- and 42-inch Tolkun branded TVs and 55-inch Zemin branded TVs featuring LCD panels and 4K Ultra HD resolution.
The company also produces an Älem” (Space) branded 65-inch smart TV, a Şowly (Successful) branded monoblock computer, Milli (National) and Körpe (Kid) branded cell phones, an Uçgun (Spark) router and Mylaýym (Gentle) split air conditioner.
