Türkmendaşarysöwda (Turkmen Foreign Trade) State Enterprise of the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations of Turkmenistan and TATNEFT Trade and Technical House company in an online meeting on Wednesday discussed aspects of the final stage of opening the Trading House of Turkmenistan in Russia’s Kazan city.
The Trading House will focus on promoting the products of Turkmen enterprises in the Russian market and increasing the export potential of the national economy, Turkmenistan's official media reports.
The Consul General of Turkmenistan in Kazan Atadurdy Bayramov also attended the talks.
The meeting participants noted the productivity of cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Tatarstan of Russia and the presence of potential for building it up.
During the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan in October last year, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov outlined the fruitful cooperation between Turkmenistan and Tatarstan as a prime example of effective business partnership in the context of the country's traditional trade, economic, humanitarian and cultural ties with Russia.
The Head of State said the cooperation with Tatarstan is of great importance, taking into account both the existing prospects of partnership and the historical ties between the nations.
