Erjel-Begenç Individual Enterprise, based in Gokdepe etrap of Turkmenistan’s Ahal velayat, has mastered the production of dozens of types of facing materials. To this end, the company launched three lines designed for the manufacture of paving slabs and curbs, and decorative panels for side-by-side walls.
The company annually produces around 20 types of paving stones, 7 types of curbs and more than 10 types of wall cladding materials. The enterprise has the capacity to produce over 20 thousand square meters of tiles and over 17 thousand meters of curbs, the country’s official media reported on Wednesday.
Due to their high moisture and frost resistance, the company's products are in high demand among utilities and construction workers. The company’s products are also used in the construction of the new administrative center of Ahal velayat.
Members of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan (UIET) are successfully developing a segment of the building materials industry, according to the report. Enterprises producing basalt fiber, pipes, bricks, reinforced concrete structures, and waterproofing materials contribute to the field of import substitution.
