Turkmenistan’s Türkmen-Mahabat Individual Enterprise has mastered the industrial technology of wall painting and the production of decorative plaster for the interior of residential and public buildings, the country’s official media reported on Wednesday.

Turkmenistan used to import finished frescoes, mainly from Russia. The Turkmen company now produces them under the state import substitution program.

The company’s production facily is located in Ahal velayat’s Ak Bugday etrap. The specialists of the company create industrial frescoes using large format UV flatbed printers. UV printers use water-based paints to apply any pattern specified by the program to wet plaster. The finished fresco is rolled up and attached to the wall or ceiling using acrylic glue.

The company's specialists have also mastered the Italian and German technologies for the production of decorative plaster. It is produced based on acrylic, marble powder and additives that make this material strong and durable. The relief and varied texture of the coatings is achieved using a special tool - the Venetian spatula.

Türkmen-Mahabat IE has produced around 12 thousand square meters of mosaic panels for the decoration of buildings in the capital. According to the sketches of Turkmen artists, the enterprise made 32 monumental compositions from fragments of colored glass on the end walls of high-rise residential buildings along Magtymguly Avenue.

The company presently decorates the ground floor of the Ashgabat Shopping and Entertainment Center with art panels and decorative plaster. The enterprise will also decorate five new residential buildings in the administrative center of Dashoguz velayat with frescoes.
