Turkmenistan’s Agaýana Begins Export of Particleboard

Agaýana Individual Enterprise producing construction materials in Oguzhan etrap of Turkmenistan’s Mary velayat began export of its products to Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan, the country’s official media reported on Thursday.

The company mainly produces particleboard, widely used in construction and repair works. The main raw matrerials used in production are cotton stalk and sawdust. These materials contribute to the affordability of the product and to the generation of additional income for the enterprise, according to the report.

The annual production capacity of the enterprise is 20 thousand cubic meters. The enterprise is equipped with local machinery from China, Turkey and Iran. In the manufacture of particleboard, cotton stalk and sawdust are crushed, mixed with glue and then compressed. The finished products are then treated, and the dried products are cut to the required size.

Particleboards are available from 1.83 to 2.75 meters in length and from 8 to 24 millimeters in thickness.
