Turkmenistan to Send Humanitarian Aid to Wildfire Victims in Turkey

Turkmenistan will send humanitarian aid to victims of wildfires in Turkey, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed a relevant Resolution, the country’s official media reported on Friday.

In accordance with the Resolution, the Ministry of Healthcare and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan will donate appropriate medicines and medical supplies to Turkey as humanitarian aid.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan is instructed to ensure the dispatch and organized delivery of the humanitarian assistance to Afghanistan.

Deadly wildfires in Turkey started on July 28. They covered a number of coastal areas with tourist resorts, including the provinces of Antalya and Mugla. Currently, firefighters in Turkey have managed to take control of all forest fires in the country.
