Turkmenistan will host three major international events in the near future. The Vice-Premier, Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov briefed to President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on preparations for these events during the online cabinet meeting on Monday, the country’s official media reports.
This year, the country will host the Sixth Caspian Summit, the 15th Summit of the Heads of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) member states and the international conference "Politics of Peace and Trust - the Basis of International Security, Stability and Development."
Emphasizing the importance of ensuring high organizational level of events, the Head of State signed a resolution on the establishment of the relevant organizing committees.
According to the Resolutions, the organizing committees are instructed to ensure the implementation of coordination activities for the organization and holding of the international events at a high level.
The Turkmen Leader said the country's foreign policy provides for the strengthening of constructive dialogue with neighboring countries in a bilateral and multilateral formats, and cooperation with leading regional and international organizations.
