To this end, the parties stressed the importance of organizing the International Forum of Medical Scientists "Medical Diplomacy – the Basis for a Healthy World" in Ashgabat on Friday to create the necessary conditions for a regular exchange of views and professional experience in the healthcare sector.

At the end of July, the WHO delivered new laboratory equipment to Turkmenistan to increase the country’s capacity for COVID-19 testing. The delivery is part of a collaboration between the WHO Country Office in Turkmenistan and the country’s Ministry of Healthcare and Medical Industry to strengthen pandemic preparedness and response
