The President of Russia’s Tatarstan Republic Rustam Minnikhanov invited the delegation of Turkmenistan to visit Tatarstan to get acquainted with the achievements of the republic in industry, construction, mechanical engineering and other spheres of the economy, according to the letter of the Head of Tatarstan to Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov published in the official Turkmen press on Monday.
The visit is expected to feature organization of visits to Tatarstan’s industrial enterprises, including KAMAZ, where the Turkmen delegation will be able to get acquainted with the production process and a new range of equipment, including passenger transport and electric buses, Minnikhanov said in his letter.
“I believe that joint work in this area will become another promising direction for the further development of our mutually beneficial cooperation,” stressed President Minnikhanov.
In late September, the Head of Tatarstan visited Ashgabat to participate in the celebrations dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's independence.
Minnikhanov and the Turkmen Leader during the talks within the framework of the visit noted the special significance of the long-term partnership of Turkmenistan with leading enterprises and companies of Tatarstan. At the end of the talks, President Rustam Minnikhanov was awarded with the Order of Turkmenistan "Garaşsyzlyk".
