Iran’s capital Tehran hosted the second meeting of the foreign ministers of the neighboring countries of Afghanistan and Russia on Wednesday. The top diplomats focused on the consolidation of efforts aimed at providing mutual assistance in forming an inclusive government in Afghanistan with the participation of all national groups in the country, the Turkmen Foreign Ministry said in its press release.

As a neighboring and neutral state, the Turkmen side expressed its readiness to promote the establishment of an appropriate dialogue and create conditions for the early establishment of peace, harmony and unity in Afghanistan, according the statement.

In late October, the Turkmen delegation participated in Moscow format consultations on Afghanistan held in Russian capital. The talks gathered representatives of more than 10 countries, including a delegation from the Afghan government.
