Turkmen Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov and South Korean Foreign Minister Chung Eui-yong in a phone talk on Thursday discussed the agenda of the 14th Central Asia-Korea Cooperation Forum.
The Ministers exchanged views on priority areas of bilateral cooperation in political, trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres during the conversation, the Turkmen Foreign Ministry said in its press release.
Highlighting progress in development of bilateral relations, the top diplomats emphasized the positive role of the regular contacts on topical bilateral issues in its further expansion.
The sides also emphasized the fruitful cooperation of Turkmenistan and South Korea within the framework of the Joint Business Council, and multilateral format talks Central Asia – Korea. Focusing on the multilateral format talks, the foreign ministers discussed the agenda of the upcoming Central Asia-Korea Cooperation Forum.
The 14th Central Asia-Korea Cooperation Forum will take place on November 30 this year in Tajikistan capital Dushanbe.
