The Turkmen sunflower oil producer Gündogar Akymy launched a mayonnaise production under its Günaý brand, the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan (UIET) – the major business union of the country – said in its Monday press release.
Products with different percentages of fat content are packaged in 200, 400 and 800 gr packages. The workshops of the enterprise are designed to produce two tons of mayonnaise per hour. The Günaý mayonnaise is expected to hit the country's shelves in the near future.
Gündogar Akymy launched the production of vegetable oils in 2019. The capacity of production shops is designed to process 18 thousand tons of seeds per year. The enterprise sells its sunflower oils under Günaý brand in 1- and 5-liter bottles.
In 2020, Gündogar Akymy received 6 thousand hectares of land in Ahal velayat’s Sarahs etrap for the cultivation of crops. Utilizing crop rotation practice, the company intends to plant sunflower seeds in 900 hectares, soybeans, rapeseed and sesame in 850 hectares each and wheat in 2,550 of land.
