Türkmen Aýna Önümleri, the state producer of glass products in Turkmenistan, will increase its capacity with the construction of an additional workshop with the daily output of 100 tons of glass products on its territory.
Charymyrat Purchekov, the Deputy Chairman of the Turkmen Government for the industrial and construction complex, briefed on the construction of the workshop of major local glass producer during the online cabinet meeting hosted by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov on Friday.
Purchekov said Rysgally Zähmet company was selected to construct the workshop on the territory of the plant in Gokdepe district of Ahal province as a result of a tender held for this purpose, the country's official media reports.
Following the briefing, the Head of State stressed the need to steadily enhance the industry's potential and increase the production of in demand construction materials, including glass products. He instructed to continue the works carried out in this direction and to address the set tasks with utmost responsibility.
Commissioned in February 2018, Türkmen Aýna Önümleri produces glass for construction purposes and 15 types of different glass containers for the food and medical industries.
