In accordance with the Law of Turkmenistan on Advertising, sponsorship advertising is distributed under the terms of a sponsorship agreement concluded between the sponsor and the sponsored party.
The sponsor's contribution is recognized as a payment for advertising, and the sponsor and the sponsored, are respectively, recognized the advertiser and advertising distributer.
The influence of the sponsor on the content and time of release of printed materials sponsored by him or television and radio broadcasts in the media, affecting the editorial independence of the advertising distributor, is prohibited.
Sponsored printed materials or television and radio broadcasts must not promote the sale (purchase) of goods or the provision of services of a sponsor or a third party.
Sponsors of printed materials or television or radio broadcasts cannot be individuals or legal entities whose main activity is the manufacture or sale of goods or the provision of services, the advertising of which is not allowed in accordance with national legislation.
Sponsoring printed materials or television, radio programs on political and news topics is prohibited.
