Turkmenistan Airlines, the flag carrier of Turkmenistan, on Monday announced requirements for passengers on international flights. These requirements are introduced after the resumption of regular flights with foreign countries.
Passengers on international flights should check in advance the requirements of the country of destination introduced due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The duration of the quarantine depends on the requirements of the country of destination.
Country requirements are published on the website of the International Air Transport Association (IATA).
Passengers arriving in Turkmenistan and transiting must have a negative COVID-19 test certificate received within the last 48 hours, as well as a certificate of vaccination against COVID-19. Passengers also need to fill in two copies of the form about his whereabouts and state of health.
In the airport terminal and during the flight on board the aircraft, all passengers must wear medical masks.
President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov during the online cabinet meeting on May 6 approved a proposal to resume regular flights to the United Arab Emirates and Germany’s Frankfurt once a week.
