Turkmenistan Approves Passenger Categories Served at Airports’ VIP, CIP Lounges

Turkmenistan has approved the category of passengers who have the right to be served in the VIP and CIP lounges of airports. The document was published on the information portal of the Ministry of Justice of Turkmenistan.

According to the new procedure, the category of passengers served in the VIP lounge free of charge include the chairs of the chambers of the bicameral parliament of Turkmenistan and their deputies, deputy chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, advisers to the President of Turkmenistan, heads of military and law enforcement agencies of Turkmenistan, heads of diplomatic missions and consular offices of Turkmenistan in foreign countries, heads of diplomatic missions and consular offices of foreign states in Turkmenistan.

Among those who are included in the category of passengers subject to free service in CIP lounge at Turkmen airports are heads and deputies of entities under the Turkmen Cabinet of Ministers, members and deputies of the bicameral parliament of Turkmenistan, deputy heads of military and law enforcement agencies of Turkmenistan, heads of higher educational institutions of Turkmenistan, people with diplomatic passports of Turkmenistan and their family members.

Any passenger can use the CIP lounge service on a paid basis. Passengers can order paid services at CIP by sending a written or electronic application addressed to the heads of airports or the head of VIP and CIP lounges.
