The businesses from Turkey and Afghanistan procured three thousand tons of ECO-5 (grade-D) hydrotreated diesel fuel during Monday trades at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan.
During the trades, the diesel was sold for $1,308.5 per ton, which is 5.3% more than the price at the last auction. The total amount of transactions for the product amounted to $3.9 million, the SCRMET announced on Tuesday.
On the same day, the Turkish company also purchased 12 thousand kilograms of cotton yarn produced at the enterprise of the Ministry of Textile Industry of Turkmenistan for 390 thousand manats.
Last week, the total amount of transactions concluded in foreign currency at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan exceeded $14 million.
