The private dried fruit enterprises in Turkmenistan’s northern province of Dashoguz have started processing locally grown fruits, the country’s official media reported on Monday.
The enterprise of Entrepreneur Dovletov, located in the province’s S.A.Niyazov district, have prepared more than two tons of dried apples for sale.
Another private company located in Gorogly district produced the first 300 kilos of dried apricots and 150 kilos of dried apples at the beginning of the season.
Both specialized productions have all the necessary equipment, including washing, drying units, and sorting systems, allowing to perform all the necessary operations of fruit cutting, core removal, drying, packaging of finished products in accordance with established standards, according to the report.
Each of the private enterprises is capable of producing up to 100 tons of dried products per season.
