Two new freight locomotives of Chinese production arrived in Ashgabat railway station in Turkmenistan on Tuesday.
The locomotives produced by Chinese company CRRC Ziyango are distinguished by reliability and carrying capacity, according to the Turkmen official media report.
The state media said the arrival of new locomotives will contribute to more productive and active work of the railroad and, therefore, to the further progressive social and economic development of Turkmenistan.
The locomotive manufacturer CRRC Ziyang is a subsidiary of CRRC Corporation, which is the world's largest rolling stock manufacturer in terms of revenue.
Recently, Turkmenistan has purchased five freight locomotives from Bryansk Machine-Building Plant of Transmashholding JSC.
