Turkmen President Expected to Attend Informal CIS Summit in Russia
According to the Press Service of President of the Russian Federation, the traditional informal meeting of CIS Heads of State will be held on December 26-27 on the initiative of the President Vladimir Putin.

Leaders of Central Asian countries, including President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov are expected to participate in the informal meeting of Heads of state of the Commonwealth of Independent States in Russia’s St Petersburg next week, the Press Service of President of the Kyrgyz Republic announced on Friday.

The statement specified that on December 26, the Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov will pay a working visit to St. Petersburg to participate in the informal CIS summit.

“President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of Russia Vladimir Putin, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rakhmon, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdymukhamedov and President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev are expected to attend this event,” the Press Service said.

According to the Press Service of President of the Russian Federation, the traditional informal meeting of CIS Heads of State will be held on December 26-27 on the initiative of the President Vladimir Putin.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov also took part in the informal CIS summit held in October this year in St. Petersburg.
