Turkmenistan Implements Oil Supply Plan by 101.2%

Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers in charge of the country's oil and gas industry Ashyrguly Begliyev during his report in the online Cabinet meeting, hosted by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov on Friday, reported that the Turkmennebit (Turkmen Oil) State Concern implemented the oil supply plan for January-February of this year by 101.2 percent, the official Turkmen media reports.

During the meeting, the Vice Premier briefed the Turkmen President on the technical and economic indicators achieved in January-February of this year in the extraction of oil and gas condensate, production of gasoline, liquefied natural gas and export of natural gas.

According to the report, the diesel production plan was implemented by 100.8 percent, the polypropylene production plan-105 percent, the lubricant production plan by 110.7 percent, and the natural and similar gas production plan-105.3 percent.

President Berdimuhamedov stressed the need to take integrated measures to increase the production of hydrocarbon resources and the importance of establishing direct cooperation with their producers in order to smoothly import equipment, spare parts, chemicals and consumables at reasonable prices.

In addition, Turkmen President noted the importance of taking the necessary measures to attract world-famous foreign companies and foreign investments, implementing modern technologies in the industry and gave relevant instructions to the Vice Premier on this regard.

The Cabinet meeting summarized the work carried out in the country in the first two months of the year and discussed the state agenda.
