Required Skills and Experience

Education:

• Secondary education is required. or University Degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Construction Management or equivalent field will be given due consideration, but it is not a requirement.
• Vocational education in the field of technical disciplines (electricity, plumbing, general maintenance, etc.) would be an asset.

Experience:

• Minimum of 4 years (with high school diploma) or 1 year (with bachelor’s degree) of progressively responsible general maintenance experience is required. (Experience must include plumbing, electrical repair, general structural repair, familiarity with various building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and structural components, to ensure comprehensive maintenance and repair.)
• Experience in the use of computers, office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc.) and web-based management systems, and advanced knowledge of spreadsheet and database packages.
• Experience in the usage of Enterprise Resource Planning based e-platforms.
• Experience with reading and interpreting the schemes of plumbing systems/ electrical wiring.
• Experience working with various electrical systems
• Experience operating maintenance tools and machinery
• Experience working as part of a maintenance or facilities team
• Previous experience in cooperation with government and municipal authorities would be an asset.

Languages:

• Fluency in Russian and Turkmen is required.
• Some knowledge of English is an asset.
