The Turkmentel-2023 International Exhibition for the telecom and IT industry began Thursday at the Turkmenistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Ashgabat. The exhibition is scheduled to conclude on Friday.
On this occasion, Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov congratulated the participants of Türkmentel - 2023, the Turkmen official media reported on Thursday.
"The XVI International Exhibition and Scientific Conference of Telecommunications, Telemetry, Information Technology and Broadcasting Equipment Türkmentel - 2023 are designed to provide significant assistance to the modernisation of the telecommunications system, acting as a guarantor of innovative development, implementation of national programmes and global projects," the head of state said in his congratulatory message.
In his congratulatory message, Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasised introducing new digital solutions into Turkmenistan's telecommunications system, enhancing communication services for the population. He mentioned investments in developing the core cluster, implementing scientific and technical reforms, and significant projects to improve the digital system.
The event was organised by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan and the Agency Turkmenaragatnashyk of Transport and Communications, operating under the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan.
The exhibition features approximately 30 companies from different foreign countries and nearly 40 companies of Turkmenaragatnashyk Agency and its subsidiaries, economic societies and individual enterprises.
Participants at the exhibition are willing to support the development of Turkmenistan's communication and broadcasting systems. They are presenting their projects, which include modern solutions for broadcasting TV and radio stations to the international community through satellite communication and direct broadcasting systems. Leading foreign companies are showcasing high-quality and advanced equipment for mobile communication systems, high-speed data transmission, and global mobile communication systems. These projects aim to facilitate the provision of communication and internet services.
