CZN Burak now aims to win the hearts of gourmets in Turkmenistan. In an interview with Business Turkmenistan, Burak Özdemir shared insights about the upcoming opening.
BT: How did you come up with the idea to open a restaurant in Turkmenistan? What inspired you to take this step?
CZN Burak: Turkmenistan holds a special place in my heart due to its unique culture and hospitable people. After studying the country and being inspired by its rich culinary traditions, I decided to open my restaurant here. Turkmenistan became one of the key countries for expanding my business. We aim to offer guests the best dishes of Turkish cuisine while introducing them to Turkmen culinary traditions.
BT: Do you plan to include any elements or dishes from Turkmen cuisine in the new restaurant's menu?
CZN Burak: We will offer delightful dishes in our new restaurant! The menu will showcase Turkish culinary traditions alongside exquisite Turkmen dishes. The Turkmen pilaf, made with lamb and fresh vegetables, will hold a special place on the menu. We strive to impress guests not only with taste but also with the aesthetic presentation of the dishes. Our goal is to provide each visitor with unforgettable experiences and the chance to enjoy the best dishes.
BT: How would you describe your approach to preparing the "big dishes" that have become your trademark?

CZN Burak: My culinary career began in childhood when I watched my mother prepare wonderful meals. Her love for creating family dinners and her creative approach greatly inspired me. The joy of cooking together remains an important part of my life today.
BT: What advice would you give to young chefs dreaming of becoming famous?
CZN Burak: I advise young chefs to work hard and never give up. This profession requires a desire to bring joy and a willingness to learn every day. Follow your dreams. Success comes with patience and perseverance.
