XIX international exhibition White City of Ashgabat, marking the day of the capital of Turkmenistan, was held in Ashgabat on Monday. Hyakimlik (Administration) of Ashgabat and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan jointly organized the exhibition.
The opening ceremony of the exhibition held at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry gathered members of the Government, Mejlis (Parliament), representatives of ministries and departments, the diplomatic corps, public organizations, the media, Turkmen and foreign businessmen, and residents of the capital.
President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted in his congratulatory letter that during recent years, the borders of the country's main city have expanded due to the erected white-marble buildings, Ashgabat has become a political and business center of international level.
More than 70 exhibitors, including dozens of companies, demonstrated their products and services this year.
