Starbucks, the largest coffeehouse chain in the world, ranked the most valuable restaurant brand for 7th consecutive year, Brand Finance international consulting agency reported.
The company generated increasing demand for its products throughout 2022 as pandemic-related restrictions were lifted globally. Starbucks' brand value increased 17% through 2022, reaching $53.4 billion, widening the gap between itself and McDonald's, the second most valuable restaurant brand.
Starbucks’ value also has grown 30% higher than its pre-pandemic levels due to its reinvention strategy launched in 2022. The strategy aims to invest $450 million in existing US stores in 2023, with additional investments in 2024 and 2025.
The list of the top 5 most valuable restaurant brands in 2023 also includes McDonald’s, Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC), Domino’s and Subway.
