Allamyrat Allaberdiyev, a businessman from Ashgabat and a member of the Union of the Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, has set up the production of the composite armature, Neytralnyy Turkmenistan newspaper reported on Monday.
According to the report, the enterprise produces polymer reinforcement of different sizes and diameters from 4 to 24 millimeters and fiberglass mesh from 5 to 25 cells. The company's capacity allows it to produce 5 to 7 thousand meters of reinforcement and 1,000 square meters of mesh daily.
Composite reinforcement is resistant to abrasive matters, does not corrode, withstands the temperature from minus 70 to plus 200 degrees and is 2,5-3 times stronger than steel reinforcement with the same diameter.
Moreover, the weight of the composite armature is 4-5 times that of the steel armature, reducing the load on the foundation of the raised structure or object. The service life of the composite without deterioration is predicted to be at least 80 years. The armature also does not emit dangerous or toxic compounds, making it environmentally friendly.
