The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (SCRMET) during Wednesday trades registered export deals worth more than $16.48 million.
The companies from the Virgin Islands purchased 20 thousand tons of lighting kerosene KO-20. A ton of the kerosene costed $735 and the total value of the transactions amounted to $14.7 million, according to the SCRMET.
In addition, an Afghan business purchased 2 thousand tons of SN-180 base oil with a total value of over $1.66 million. The price of a ton of base oil amounted to $832.
These products sold at the auctions of the SCRMET are produced at the enterprises of the Türkmennebit (Turkmen Oil) State Concern.
Turkmen businesses purchased 67 tons of polypropylene of TPP D 30 S grade. The total value of the transactions amounted to more than 1.6 million manats.
In addition, a representative of Chinese business circles concluded a deal for the purchase of smooth dyed and jacquard products for a total amount of $121.9 thousand.
Last week the total amount of transactions in foreign currency at the auctions of the SCRMET amounted to more than $48.45 million.
