Kazakh entrepreneurs will visit Turkmenistan from November 28 to December 2, 2023, as part of a mission organized by the Astana Diplomatic Club. The visit will include the Lebap, Mary, and Balkan provinces and the city of Ashgabat.
The entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to meet with members of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs from these regions, as stated by the press service of the diplomatic club.
The primary aim of the visit is to assess the business opportunities in the regions, which will involve visiting prominent enterprises. Additionally, the delegation will visit the State Commodity Exchange of Turkmenistan, special economic zones, and the International Sea Port Turkmenbashi.
In early October, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan hosted a meeting between representatives from the Republic of Kazakhstan, Turkmen businesspeople, and Chamber of Commerce and Industry officials. This meeting resulted in the signing preliminary agreements valued at $3 million.
