The total value of foreign currency transactions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (SCRMET) on Friday totalled $24.095 million, the State Commodity Exchange of Turkmenistan reports.
Business representatives from the UAE and Malta purchased low-sulphur fuel oil from Turkmennebit (Turkmen Oil). The total value of the transactions amounted to $19.56 million.
Furthermore, business representatives from Afghanistan and Türkiye have successfully concluded a deal to purchase "B" carbamide with a total value of $4.532 million. These specific products, available at SCRMET trades, are manufactured by the enterprise of the State Concern Turkmenhimiya (Turkmen Chemistry).
The businessman from the UAE purchased 12 ounces of denim. The total value of the transaction was $148,308.
In addition, Turkmen business representatives purchased cotton wool, petroleum acid, dyed dense flannel cloth, Turkmen hand carpets, ready-made bed sets and cotton cloth for the domestic market. The total value of the transactions amounted to 11 million 25 thousand 389.16 manats.
The trades of the State Commodity Exchange of Turkmenistan registered 16 deals on Friday.
