In January-November 2023, Turkmenabat Chemical Plant, named after S.A. Niyazov, produced products worth over 94.1 million manats, the official Turkmen media reported on Thursday.
Since the beginning of the current year, the enterprise has produced about 247 thousand tonnes of phosphate mineral fertilizers necessary for developing agriculture in Turkmenistan.
The plant also produces sulphur-containing chemicals and medical and technical oxygen intended for crop protection against pests in the agro-industrial complex.
The Turkmenabad Chemical Plant, built in 1960, is currently one of the largest chemical enterprises in Turkmenistan.
The plant produces various chemical products such as ammonium superphosphate, sulphuric acid, fertiliser developer, proximate, aluminium sulphate (coagulant), oxygen, and polymer products (polyethene peats, plastics, etc).
