German Companies Aid Medical Cluster Creation in Arkadag City

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed a resolution according to which the State Committee for Construction of Arkadag City under the President of Turkmenistan is allowed to conclude a contract with the German company Goetzpartners Emerging Markets GmbH to provide consulting services for the construction of facilities in the production zone of Arkadag City to produce food, industrial, pharmaceutical and medical products.

As reported by the official Turkmen media on Sunday, the Decree was signed to successfully address the tasks outlined in the Program "Revival of a New Era of a Powerful State: National Program for the Socio-Economic Development of Turkmenistan for 2022-2052," harmonious development of regions, further improvement of the living standards of the population, as well as the implementation of the Presidential Resolution of Turkmenistan dated June 16, 2023, No. 598 "On the Development of Arkadag City".

The National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on Saturday met with the heads of the Goetzpartners Emerging Markets consulting company, the winner of the international tender for consulting services on the creation of a medical cluster in the city of Arkadag, with the Managing Director of the company Vladimir Matias and Senior Consultant of this company Hans Gerd Prödel.

During the meeting, the sides discussed further development of bilateral relations.

Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov emphasized that Turkmenistan has created all the conditions for the effective work of foreign specialists and business structures. He also noted that the nature of Turkmenistan, including the Karakum Desert, has enormous reserves of raw materials for the production of export-oriented products.

As an outcome of the meeting, the State Committee for Construction of Arkadag City under the President of Turkmenistan signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Goetzpartners Emerging Markets GmbH, a consulting company of the Federal Republic of Germany.
