Turkmenabat Chemical Plant Produces 42.3k Ton Phosphorus Fertilizer

During January-March of the current year, the S.A. Niyazov Turkmenabat Chemical Plant of Türkmenhimiýa (Turkmen Chemicals) State Concern produced 42,300 tons of phosphorus mineral fertilizers.

As reported by the Türkmen gündogary regional newspaper on Thursday, the plant's specialists fulfilled the production plan for phosphorus mineral fertilizers at 124.4 percent.

Since the beginning of the current year, the enterprise has also produced 29,600 tons of sulfuric acid. The message highlights that the sulfuric acid produced at the plant is widely used by industrial enterprises in the country.

The Turkmenabat Chemical Plant, built in 1960, is one of Turkmenistan's major chemical facilities.

Currently, the plant produces a wide range of chemical products, including ammonium superphosphate, sulfuric acid, fertilizer developer, oximate, aluminum sulfate (coagulant), oxygen, polymer products (polyethylene pipes, films, and others).
