Plans are underway to construct a new building for the Children's School of Arts in Ashgabat, the capital of Turkmenistan, Deputy Chairperson of the Cabinet of Ministers Mahrijemal Mammedova announced during a regular online government meeting on Friday.
According to the official media of Turkmenistan, the vice premier noted that the new facility is proposed in response to the increase in residential areas and the wishes of the capital's residents.
The building is slated for construction as part of the task outlined in the "President of Turkmenistan's Program for the Socio-Economic Development of the Country in 2022-2028," the report said.
President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov approved the proposal for the construction of the new Children's School of Arts building and instructed the vice premier to carry out the necessary work.
The regular Cabinet of Ministers meeting also addressed several other state matters.
