Azerbaijan’s AZCHEMCO is prepared to establish the production of liquid fertilizers and agrochemicals in Turkmenistan, Vice Chairman of AZCHEMCO Holding Company Rifat Sultan-zade announced during the International Scientific Conference on Energy Perspectives, New Technologies, and Environmental Aspects in the Development of Hydrocarbon Resources (TESC 2024) in June.
AZCHEMCO possesses the technology for manufacturing liquid and complex water-soluble fertilizers and agrochemicals and is ready to share its expertise. Sultan-zade highlighted that the company could set up liquid fertilizer production in Turkmenistan using local resources such as urea, sulfuric acid, and sulfur, with the aim of further distribution in the region, according to the electronic newspaper of the country's oil and gas complex.
The vice chairman mentioned that AZCHEMCO is willing to provide technology for processing sulfur into raw materials for liquid agrochemicals, taking into account Turkmenistan's large natural gas reserves.
The company is ready to collaborate with Turkmenistan's institutes to develop new climate financing initiatives. Sultan-zade also noted that AZCHEMCO has launched the A3 Climate Fund project to attract investments aimed at addressing global climate issues.
AZCHEMCO is an Azerbaijani producer of liquid and complex water-soluble fertilizers and agrochemicals, equipped with its own technologies in this field.
